Competitors from across BC took to the ice in the annual Men’s Steelhead and Women’s Edelweiss Bonspiels, from February 20 - 22, 2026.
CURLING ACTIVITIES

If you’re brand new, there are several ways to get started. For adults, the quickest is to drop in on Fridays at 7 pm to learn from our coaches or play a game. We also run 5 week try curling programs on a regular basis.
Smithers Curling has all the curling equipment you need to get started, so all you need to bring is a clean pair of indoor shoes!

Adults: Whether you’re brand new or want to take your game to the next level, contact us to schedule a time with a coach. Other opportunities include Wednesday women’s skill development sessions, and Friday’s on-ice instructor.
Juniors: Sign up for group lessons taught by trained coaches. Smithers Curling offers a positive and inclusive atmosphere for your child to have fun while developing new skills. Thursdays, 2:30pm - 3:00pm.

Leagues have scheduled games every week from October to March 20, 2026, with no experience necessary to get started.
Join a league as a team, or contact us to find teammates for Tuesday Doubles, Wednesday Women’s, Thursday Men’s, Friday Seniors, or our Friday Fun League.

Practice ice is available to members on Wed (7pm), Fri (1pm, 7pm), and Sun (7pm), for our standard drop in rate of $10.
Free practice ice is also available after league games on Tuesday (8:15pm), Wednesday (8:45pm), Thursday (8:45pm) and Friday (8:45pm). The start times after league games are approximate, depending on when teams get off the ice.
