Frequently asked questions

Do I need a password?

No. Click Login, enter your email address, and Curling I/O emails you a link that logs you in. You can also log in with a Gmail account.

Why is the listed price higher than last year?

The $100 volunteer deposit is now inside the league fee instead of being added at checkout. What you pay at checkout is about 3% more than last year. The guide has the comparison.

How do I get my volunteer deposit back?

Volunteer for 8 hours or more during the season and the $100 deposit is returned to you, either by e-transfer or as a credit on your Curling I/O account. Credit is easier for the club to administer, so if you plan to enter a bonspiel later this year, please take the credit and use it toward your entry.

What is the extra $50?

Season fees: club membership ($21), Curl BC ($24) and Curling Canada ($5). Each curler pays them once per season, however many leagues they play.

I don't have a team. Can I still register?

Yes. Choose "No team yet" as your team name and the club will find you a team.

What do I enter for team size?

The number of players on your team, counting yourself. Everyone on the team should enter the same number. If you play two leagues, give the same team sizes on both registration forms.

I registered for two leagues but do not see a discount.

Check that both leagues are in the same cart and that the team sizes match on both forms. Click Edit beside a league in the cart to change an answer. If it still looks wrong, email us before you pay.

How do I register my partner or my children?

Use your own account. When you are asked to select a profile, click New profile and add them. Each curler has their own season fees and their own waivers.

A family member is missing from the profile list.

Reload the page and look again before creating a new profile, so you do not end up with a duplicate. Wednesday is a women's league and Thursday a men's league, so a profile that does not fit the league is listed but cannot be selected.

I made a mistake on the form.

Before you place the order, click Edit beside the league in your cart. After you have paid, email us.

How do I pay?

By card, online, when you click Place order.
